- 2G network
- The oldest mobile data network still running in much of Africa. Trackers built for 2G keep reporting on roads where newer networks do not reach. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- API key
- A secret that lets your own software read or change your fleet's data. A scoped key can do only what its scopes allow. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Daily brief
- A short morning summary of the fleet: what happened overnight and what to act on first. GoGoo's comes from ZURI GO on WhatsApp.How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Driver safety score
- A score for each driver built from events the tracker records, such as harsh braking, harsh acceleration, cornering and speeding. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Fleet intelligence
- Tracking and fleet records read together and turned into the few actions an owner should take each day.How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Fleet management software
- Software that keeps a fleet's vehicles, drivers, trips, documents, maintenance and payments in one place, usually on top of GPS tracking. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Geofence
- A boundary drawn on a map around a place, such as a depot or a station, so the system can record when a vehicle arrives or leaves. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- GPS tracker
- A device fitted in a vehicle that works out its position by satellite and sends it, with speed and ignition, over the mobile network. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Harsh braking
- A sudden slowdown, past a set force, detected by the tracker. Repeated harsh braking points to tailgating or distraction, and wears brakes and tyres. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Idle time
- Time a vehicle spends with its engine running while it is not moving. It burns fuel and earns nothing.
- Ignition status
- Whether a vehicle's ignition is on or off, as reported by the tracker. It shows when a vehicle was in use.How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Immobiliser
- A relay that stops a vehicle's engine from starting. A remote immobiliser can be switched from a dashboard; a starter cut lets a running engine run but stops the next start. How GoGoo Fleet does it
- Inspection checklist
- A list of items a driver checks on a vehicle, such as tyres, lights and brakes, before a trip or on a schedule. How GoGoo Fleet does it
